                              RESOLUTION NO. 21653
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF CONTRACT
                 NO. 53B-2, SPRING CREEK FORCE MAIN, TO
                 RUBY-COLLINS, INC. FOR THEIR LOW BID IN THE
                 AMOUNT OF ONE MILLION, FIVE HUNDRED FORTY-SEVEN
                 THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE AND 60/100
                 DOLLARS ($1,547,323.60), SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
                 CONDITIONS.
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of Contract No. 53B-2, Spring Creek Force Main, to
       Ruby-Collins, Inc. for their low bid in the amount of
       $1,547,323.60, subject to obtaining easements and a loan from the 

       State of Georgia.
